Anything over 100 miles changes how the money works. Interstate moves are priced on the actual weight of the shipment and the mileage, taken from a certified scale ticket, not on hours. We run dedicated trucks rather than consolidating your load with three other families, so the delivery date is a date and not a two-week spread.

Step by step
What happens, in order
- 01
Survey and cube sheet
Room by room, in person for anything over two bedrooms. Long-distance pricing rests on weight, so the cube sheet has to be right.

Binding estimate
You get the tariff basis, the estimated weight, the mileage and the valuation options in writing before you sign anything.
- 03
Load and weigh
We weigh empty, load, and weigh again. Both tickets go in your file and you may watch either weighing.
- 04
Transit and delivery
One driver, one truck, your goods only. You get the driver's number and a call the night before delivery.

A binding estimate fixes the price for the inventory listed. A not-to-exceed estimate caps it but lets you pay less if the load weighs under. We quote not-to-exceed by default because it cannot cost you more than the number on the page.
Yes. Federal rules give you the right to observe both weighings and to demand a reweigh before unloading. Tell the driver and we will arrange it.
Six to eight weeks for a summer move, three weeks off-season. The last week of the month is the busiest week in the industry because leases turn over.
Yes, at no premium. Weekend delivery is often easier because loading docks and lifts are free.

We hold two crews back every weekday for same-day and next-day work. Call before 11:00 am and there is a good chance we can be at your door by two.
Same-day slots are first come, first served and depend on the board.
